Our history

  • 1980

    Business opens its doors

    1980 saw JT Electrical Services established under the leadership of the Taylor family.

  • 1981

    Relationship formed with CBRE

    A relationship was formed with what remains the largest commercial real estate services company in the world. That relationship remains in place to this day.

  • 1985

    Relationship formed with Mason Partners LLP

    The business formed an enduring relationship with Mason Partners, a leading multi-discipline property consultancy with offices in both Liverpool and London.

  • 1990

    Moved to premises in West Derby Village

    Consistent growth and a substantial increase in staff numbers meant much larger premises were needed. These were found in the leafy and historic Liverpool suburb of West Derby Village.

  • 2007

    Taylored Electrical and JT Electrical Services Merge

    JT Electrical Services joined forces with Graham and Joanne Taylor’s business, Taylored Electrical, to form a single entity, expanding at a manageable pace year on year.

  • 2015

    Relocated to Brunswick Business Park

    Increased capabilities and an ever-expanding management portfolio saw the Company move to much larger premises in Liverpool City Centre.

  • 2016

    Becomes Taylored Facilities Management Limited

    After 36 years of successful trading, the business evolved to become Taylored Facilities Management, the larger and far more capable company you see today.

  • 2016

    Quality and environmental management

    Achieved ISO9001 (quality) and ISO14001 (environmental) accreditations by implementing best practice management systems.

  • 2019

    Electrical vehicle charging

    Received accreditations from market-leading manufacturer, Rolec, for electric vehicle charging installation and commissionaires.

  • 2020

    40 years in business

    Founded in 1980, May 2020 marks forty years of continued business under the strong and responsible leadership of the Taylor family.
